Overview

The petulant king, Ubu, seizes power in Poland. And Lithuania. And everything else in between. All with the consent of his awful wife. An invading army, however, soon threatens Ubu's pathetic dictatorship. A satire on greed and the abuse of power, written in the 1890s by Alfred Jarry, and directed by Declan Donnellan. Performed in French. Not suitable for ages below 16.
