Overview

In the West, survival rates of Aids patients continue to improve. For patients in the East, the prognosis is not so positive. This documentary reveals how pharmaceutical companies and Western governments prevented African nations from having access to low-cost Aids drugs in the late 1990s, resulting in millions of deaths. The film celebrates a group of people who decided to fight back against this terrible injustice.
