Revolving around jazz, cabaret and a shot fired in Holland Park that sets the scene for a memorable tale, Bloodshot is a clever and playful one-man thriller at St James Studio.

Set in 1957, Derek is a photographer who isn’t having much luck. But he’s soon offered a large reward for a mysterious mission to take pictures of an elegant woman in the park he can’t resist. Taking up the offer, he becomes embroiled with dubious characters and seedy Soho life, leading to a shocking turns of events. Unpredictable and thoroughly engaging, discover how one man’s outlook on life can be changed by a stranger.

Directed by Patrick Sandford and performed by Simon Taylor, this mesmerising performance shows how effective just one actor on stage can be.
