Jeff Wayne's The War of The Worlds is a mix of live music, theatre, multimedia and visual arts on a grand scale, and now features Liam Neeson in 3D Holography as George Herbert, The Journalist, who survived an alien invasion.

Singing the part of The Journalist is former Westlife star Brian McFadden, while Jason Donovan returns for the second year running as Parson Nathaniel. Completing the star cast is Carrie Hope Fletcher (Eponine in the West End production of Les Misérables), who takes up the role of Beth, Nathaniel’s wife.

The production includes stunning effects, such as a 35ft-high (11m), flame-throwing Martian fighting machine, levitation and an animation wall.
