Overview

General Sternwood entreats private detective Philip Marlowe to help him with a matter concerning his youngest daughter, Carmen. She is in debt to bookseller Arthur Geiger and General Sternwood hopes to resolve the matter to avoid any embarrassment. Following leads, Marlowe learns that Carmen is at the centre of a pornography blackmail plot orchestrated by Geiger.
