Overview

The American cabaret performer Harold Sanditen stars in this cabaret song-cycle, a true story of the nightclub which, from 1938 through to the late 1940s, hosted some of the star jazz and cabaret performers of the day including Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Lena Horne and Count Basie, and was the first racially desegregated club in New York. Written by Alex Webb and directed by Simon Green.
