The Magic Numbers consists of two pairs of brothers and sisters. Lead guitar and vocals are provided by Romeo Stodart with his sister Michele providing bass, keyboard and vocals. Sean Gannon is the group's drummer and he is joined by his sister Angela who plays the melodica and glockenspiel as well as providing percussion and vocals. The two brother and sister duos met whilst attending The Cardinal Wiseman Roman Catholic High School in Greenford, where they were close neighbours. It was Romeo and Sean who first began performing together under the name of Guess. The group was officially formed in 2002 and they released their highly acclaimed eponymous debut album in 2005, which was nominated for a Mercury Music Prize. Their follow-up album, Those The Brokes, was released in 2006 and was equally well-received by fans. After taking time off in 2008 and reconvening in 2009 the group began work on their third studio album, The Runaway. The Magic Numbers are now touring the UK promoting their album The Runaway.
