This Hallowe’en, the public will be able to show their pumpkin carving skills with Fortnum’s annual Pumpkin Carving Competition at the Piccadilly store. Children aged up to 10 can compete to carve the scariest pumpkin from 3-5pm in the demonstration kitchen. The winner will receive a crate of scary sweets, with a prize awarded for best fancy dress. For older competitors (11 and up) there is a chance to showcase their artistic carving skills from 6-8pm in the Gallery Restaurant. Winners will receive an exclusive Fortnum’s experience package and have their pumpkin featured in Fortnum’s windows for all to see. Points will be awarded for skill, scariness, creativity, and luminosity. Adult tickets are £10 with proceeds going to the Prince’s Trust and children’s tickets are free.
