Turner award winning artist Martin Creed is the main attraction at the Hayward Gallery as they present a survey of his thought provoking work.
A significant figure in the art world for the last two and a half decades, Creed’s playful art is conceptually driven and spans all types of media, including music. Taking everyday materials and transforming them into surprising new forms, his efforts aim to challenge perceptions of run of the mill events and objects. A running theme of his art is the exploration of the invisible structures that run through our lives.
This is the first major survey of his art and looks to cover everything from his most minimal moments to the extravagant, room sized installations. Visitors should be warned that the exhibition features adult content and nudity.
