Three Sisters at Wyndham's Theatre

Experience Russian theatre at its very best as renowned director Andrei Konchalovsky brings his production of Three Sisters to Wyndham’s Theatre.

One of playwright Anton Chekov’s finest works, Three Sisters is set at the threshold of the 20th Century and tells the story of a family who find themselves exiled from home. Bored with their drab surroundings, the titular siblings bemoan their lives and fantasise about more exciting times to be had in the bustling city of Moscow. With beautifully crafted bitter-sweet dialogue, the private torments of the trio are brought to life as they philosophise and contemplate inevitable disappointment.

A bold staging of a bullet proof classic, this production is performed in the original Russian and features English subtitles.
