Overview

Enjoy a preview of artworks that could appear on Trafalgar Square's Fourth Plinth in 2014 and 2015.

Six artists have been shortlisted by the Fourth Plinth Commissioning Group to display their work on the empty plinth, which is currently home to Katharina Fritsch's Hahn/Cock, a giant blue bird sculpture.

The shortlisted artists are: Marcus Coates, Hans Haacke, Mark Leckey, Liliane Lijn, Ugo Rondinone and David Shrigley.

All six artists have produce maquettes of their proposed works and these will be on display at St Martin-in-the-Fields church.

The two selected artists will be announced by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, in early 2014. The winning works will be unveiled in Trafalgar Square in 2015 and 2016.
