Cirque du Soleil returns to London's Royal Albert Hall with its award-winning production of Quidam for a limited time only.
Quidam received its world premiere in Montreal in April 1996. Since then, the production has toured on five continents and played to more than 10 million patrons worldwide. In December 2010, Quidam embarked on a new journey, performing the same production in arenas throughout the world.
The story: Young Zoe is bored; her parents, distant and apathetic, ignore her. Her life has lost all meaning. Seeking to fill the void of her existence, she slides into an imaginary world — the world of Quidam — where she meets characters who encourage her to free her soul.
Quidam features an international cast of 45 world-class acrobats from 19 countries across the globe, including the award-winning acts Banquine, in which 15 artists perform sequences of acrobatics and human pyramids in synchronized movements and Aerial Contortion in Silk combining intensity, power and grace suspended high above the stage. Other acts include aerial hoops, rope skipping, diablo and juggling.
