Discover a tantalising selection of world-class chefs and London’s hottest restaurants as the Taste of London festival descends on London’s Regent’s Park once again.
For five summer days, the park in central London is transformed into a foodie wonderland as 40 of the best restaurants in the city gather to show off the hottest dishes from their extensive menus.
This year the event will embrace its “Flavours of the World” theme, showcasing the melting pot of flavours that make up the London restaurant scene. Visitors can choose dozens of incredible dishes to create the perfect taster menu from restaurants such as Club Gascon, Tredwells, The Clove Club, Sushisamba, The House of Ho and more. The ultimate al fresco feast, more than 200 artisan producers and premium brands also attend the festival, offering some of the best food from Britain and around the world.
As well as sampling the delights, visitors can watch cooking demonstrations, meet some of the capital’s top chefs, including Marcus Wareing, Nuno Mendes and Monica Galetti, take part in interactive masterclasses and explore themed areas dedicated to certain types of food.
If sampling the great food creates a thirst, help is at hand from some of the best wine and beer makers who can help out with their fine drinks. Champagne Laurent-Perrier will showcase their champagne matched with food pairings in their masterclass, The Balvenie will host whisky tastings and Mortimer’s cider will return with its hugely popular silent disco.
