Overview

French criminal Abel Davos is a wanted man in Italy. Desperate to evade police capture, he joins forces with cohort Raymond to raise enough money to flee to Paris via Marseilles with his wife Therese and their two young boys. The escape doesn't go as planned and a mysterious stranger called Eric Stark is dispatched to find Abel and halt his flight to freedom. Stark turns out to be Abel's only ally as the police close in, putting the safety of the children in jeopardy.
