The Paralympic Games were a huge success in London, attracting millions of spectators. Now, one year on, you can celebrate disability sport and arts once again as National Paralympic Day comes to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

This free one-day event incorporates the Mayor of London’s Liberty Festival, which showcases the creative talents of deaf and disabled artists.

There'll be a chance to see top athletes, including Paralympic medallists, and have a go at family-friendly sports activities. Plus, there'll be street theatre, outdoor dance, visual arts, live music, film and food. Other highlights include:

• The Limbless Knight, an inspiring aerial and sway performance from award-winning theatre company Graeae

• A special appearance from Andrea Begley, who recently triumphed on BBC TV series The Voice

• The amazing Miracoco Luminarium, a monumental interactive light sculpture

National Paralympic Day featuring Liberty Festival will take part in the north of the park and inside the Copper Box Arena. The event is organised by the Mayor of London, The London Legacy Development Corporation and the British Paralympic Association.
