The Cat in the Hat mingles with his Seussical pals at the Arts Theatre in London this Christmas.
Despite stiff competition from internet cats in various garb, the original Cat in the Hat won't beaten as the definitive family favourite.
Prowling the stage in a colourful show for youngsters, the immortal creation of Dr Seuss is joined by his pal Horton the Elephant, who has discovered an entire small world passing by on a speck of dust.
Floating out of control through the universe, the speck is the home of the Whos, one of which is a character called Jojo whose "thinks" are so bizarre, they defy description.
Co-conceived by Eric Idle, Seussical is (as you might expect) bursting with witty and surreal ideas, with plenty of logic twisting word play and concepts that will delight both youngsters and jaded grownups alike.
