Overview

London Festival of Cabaret presents Salena Jones, Stunning British based US singer, Jones has a touch of Sarah Vaughan in her technique and a great feel for working intimate jazz venues. She's on fine form, packing a soulful and emotional punch live and is backed here by a highly skilled band: pianist Will Bartlett, bassit Matt Ridley, drummer Pat Davey, saxophonist Richard Shepherd and percussionist Hugh Wilkinson.

Over her career Salena Jones has sung with Cab Colloway, Louis Armstrong , Hank Jones, Ray Brown, Sarah Vaughan, Maynard Ferguson, Mark Murphy,Kenny Burrel, Dudley Moore, Roy Budd, Toots Thielemans , Tom Jones, Antonio Carlos Jobim, the BBC Big Band and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
