Overview

Indonesian morality tale told in the style of a traditional 'wayang orang' dance drama, inspired by one of the stories in the Hindu epic Ramayana. One-time dancer Siti works alongside her husband Setio making earthenware pots. The business is ailing and Siti secretly hankers for a return to her glory days on the stage. When local hoodlum Ludiro pursues Siti, determined to take her as his mistress, she must resist temptation to remain faithful to Setio.
