The Blackpool-born singer-songwriter formerly known to her familiars as Victoria Christina Hesketh is on tour celebrating the release of her latest single Earthquake which is featured on her album Hands. As well as performing parts of her music on the electric keyboard Ms Boots also plays the Stylophone and a Japanese instrument called Tenori-on, which helps her produce her trademark electrical sound. Fairly new on the scene Little Boots first began performing in her student band Dead Disco. Since flying the nest she appeared on Later With Jools Holland in 2008 and went on to receive a BRIT nomination in 2009. She continued to post music and blogs on social Myspace and Youtube until she became a household name amongst the younger generation. At the age of 18 she entered ITVs Pop Idol and continued as far as the third round before being eliminated. Her trials and tribulations behind her, Little Boots brings her electropop style to her latest UK tour.
