Experience ballet and opera al fresco this summer, as BP Big Screens returns, screening world class productions to 22 locations across the UK.
The productions will be beamed live and direct from the Royal Opera House, in Covent Garden, and available to watch for free from various London locations.
This year’s performances are The Royal Ballet's Mayerling on 13 June which can be seen in Trafalgar Square, Victoria Park, Walthamstow Town Square and General Gordon Square. You can also see The Royal Opera's La Rondine on 11 July and Tosca on 18 July, both being shown at Trafalgar Square, Canada Square Park, Walthamstow Town Square, General Gordon Square and Lyric Square. All performances start at 7.30pm.
New for all three BP Big Screens in 2013 will be UK broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh, as a live anchor from the Royal Opera House, alongside a special guest presenter among the crowd in Trafalgar Square.
The three productions will feature exclusive backstage films, competitions and live interaction.
