See work by top Pop artists and designers at this major Barbican Art Gallery exhibition.
From the 1950s to the 1970s, Pop Art introduced a new cultural identity, with a focus on celebrity, mass production and the expanding industries of advertising, television, radio and print media.
This exhibition brings together 200 pieces by more than 70 artists and designers to explore the relationship between Pop Art and design.
Among the featured artists are Peter Blake, Judy Chicago, Richard Hamilton and Roy Lichtenstein. Their work is shown alongside objects by Achille Castiglioni, Charles and Ray Eames, Allen Jones and many more important designers of the period.
The exhibition also includes posters, magazines, album sleeves, film, photography and documentation about Pop interiors and architecture.
