Overview

A mysterious figure called The Visitor arrives at the Milanese home of Paolo and Lucia and their two children, Odetta and Pietro. The new arrival has a dramatic effect on each member of the family: he helps Odetta to embrace her sexuality and overcome her shyness with boys, provides emotional support for Pietro, re-ignites Lucia's dormant desires and tends to Paolo when he falls ill. Just as suddenly as he arrived, The Visitor vanishes from the family's lives and they must face their fears and insecurities alone.
