Overview

Harry Palmer enters the government intelligence service where he is assigned the seemingly straightforward case of a kidnapped doctor Radcliffe. Accompanied by agent Dalby, Harry must make contact with the captors, agree a ransom and ensure the safe return of the doctor, along with the valuable data in his possession. Unfortunately, Harry soon discovers that Radcliffe has been brain washed by his wily kidnappers. More pressingly, one of Harry's superiors is a double agent working for the enemy.
