Enjoy a jam-packed programme of music, theatre, dance, comedy and film screenings at one of London's best alfresco venues as part of a summer-long free festival.
Now in its 11th year, the More London Free Festival features a high-calibre of talent in the 1000-seater riverside setting of The Scoop.
There's no need to book seats, just turn up and enjoy the show! Seats will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis so arrive early. Cushions are available to hire. Bring your own picnic or buy hot or cold food and drinks from the many cafes in More London. In the event of rain, the show may have to be cancelled.
• Free dance from 5-7 June, where you can learn street dance, swing dance and Brazilian Zouk.
• Free music from 3-26 July, including rising star Jo Harman; African sounds with an urban twist from Voodoo King Nickens Nskoso; and new talent from the London Centre of Contemporary Music.
• Award-winning free theatre from 7 Aug-1 Sep, including family-friendly Prince of Thebes with a mix of comedy, adventure, music and puppetry. Pitched at adult audiences is Oedipus and Antigone, which will be performed at twilight.
• Free film from 11-27 Sep, including James Bond hit movie Skyfall; Ang Lee’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; multi-Oscar winning Les Miserables and Hitchcock's The Birds which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
