Overview

The London Spanish Film Festival launches its 3rd Spring Weekend with an extraordinary line-up of some of the most exciting recent Spanish films.

Highlights include the award-winning Blancanieves, which will be presented by actress Macarena García; Enrique Urbizu's thrilling No Rest for the Wicked; Paula Ortiz's beautiful Chrysalis and Paco R. Baños fresh debut with the portrait of a resourceful teenager, Ali.

After the success of Chico and Rita, veteran filmmaker Fernando Trueba will present his long-awaited new film, the Franco-Spanish El artista y la modelo.

Audiences will also be treated to a special preview of Pedro Almodóvar's latest film, Los amantes pasajeros, before its British release under the title I'm So Excited!, which will be presented by actors Carlos Areces, Blanca Suárez and Miguel Angel Silvestre.
