Jay has to laugh as he rebrands the band he founded back in 2010, ‘Jay Scott and The Find’. The band’s name has an ironic history - the key joke being that, despite being a ‘great find’ (Danny Dryden 2010), they are still waiting to be ‘found’ and the name has been difficult to ‘find’ in the dog fight battle field that is search engine world. This is the reason for tagging front man and songwriter, Jay Scott, as a prefix. Could this be the rabbit’s foot with a horseshoe that tips them over from the aspirational? To date, there have been mini discoveries for Jay, Adam & Alex: supporting Take That and playing arenas like the O2 and NEC; opening on the day of Prince at the Hop Farm in 2011. Now it is time for ‘Jay Scott and The Find’ to be found on their own.
