Overview

A humorous comment on the 1980s trend of adult offspring who won’t leave home. Co-written by Boorman and his eldest daughter Telsche, the film is a modern fable, in the wake of Leo the Last, about a harassed demolition tycoon who locks out his daughters and son to help them live on their own merits. A kind of King Lear treated as a festive comedy, it shows again how eccentric Boorman can be.
