Overview
A rock opera based on the Gospels' account of the last week of Jesus' life, it may sound like a rejected production idea from The Producers, but Jesus Christ Superstar is very much a reality, and coming to a venue near you very soon! Now that the mandatory talent show search has selected Ben Forster to best represent the Messiah, a cast including Tim Minchin, Melanie C and Chris Moyles (!) has assembled to take this iconic Lloyd Webber musical on an arena tour for the very first time. It should provide some groovy entertainment along the way, even if it does sound as mad as a plague of frogs. Next you'll be telling me there's a musical about The Book of Mormon - oh wait, that's arriving in February!
