Overview

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were founded in San Francisco in the 1970s with a mission to ‘spread omniversal joy, expiate stigmatic guilt and serve their communities’. Joy! is an intimate portrait of Sister Missionary P Delight, otherwise known as Sister Missionary Position or, affectionately, as Sister Mish, one of the founding members, now living on a Tennessee mountain in a community of Radical Faeries.
