The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada + Introduction at Museum of London Docklands

Overview

Tommy Lee Jones' directorial debut is a gritty contemporary Western set in and around a border town in West Texas. Jones plays Pete Perkins, a ranch foreman, devastated by the loss of hired hand and friend Melquiades Estrada, who has been found dead, apparently murdered. When the local sheriff fails to act on information which would lead to the killer's arrest, Perkins takes justice into his own hands. Introduced by Rachel Palmer, chaired by John Hutnyk.
