An Introduction to Bats and their Natural History at Bushy Park
Overview
This course is a beginner's guide to bats. During the day we shall look into their evolution, environmental requirements, importance, threats to their existence and conservation methods. We shall cover the use of bat detectors and use them in the evening to identify some of the bats in Bushy Park. Roger has been involved in bat conservation work for many years in Hertfordshire, Middlesex, Essex and London. Specialising in educational events about bats, he regularly runs courses for the Field Studies Council (FSC).
