Mazury Dance Company Of The Polish YMCA at Beck Theatre

Join the internationally acclaimed bold, bright, colourful group as they perform and display the national dances and songs of Poland. The group was founded in 1949 by ex-servicemen and women who moved to London after the war and wanted to keep their Polish traditions alive. Today the company consists of over 120 dancers, singers and musicians in three groups from age 7 upwards. Over 3,000 costumes items have been made by the members themselves and the show will feature the group’s own band, a nine-strong group of musicians.
