The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark at The Chelsea Theatre
Overview
Blunderbus Theatre Company blends live music, puppetry and storytelling in this gentle and funny adaptation of Jill Tomlinson's classic children’s book 'The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark', written especially for small people aged three to seven (and grown-ups who sleep with the big light on). Plop is a baby barn owl. He lives at the top of a tall tree, in a field. He is fat and fluffy. He has big round eyes. He has very knackety knees. Plop is exactly the same as every barn owl that has ever been - except for one thing. He is afraid of the dark. Plop journeys into the night-time world of campfires, fireworks, starry nights and moonlit adventures. It's sure to be a hoot.
