American saxophonist, clarinettist and arranger Frank Griffith is an esteemed educator, he a music professor at Brunel University and is also involved in the Jamie Aebersold jazz education programme. The Nonet was originally formed in New York City in 1984, with arrangements from Gerry Mulligan and Frank's own charts, including some superb re-scores of Gil Evans pieces.
