Grand comme le Baobab (Tall as the Baobab Tree) at Curzon Soho

Coumba's family live in a remote African village where their cows and goats are the only source of income. One day their brother is trying to get leaves from the giant baobab tree to feed to the cows when he falls and injures himself. The unaffordable medical bill threatens the family’s survival, and their father decides to sell Coumba's little sister into an arranged marriage. Torn between loyalty to her parents and her dreams for the future, Coumba hatches a plan to rescue her young sister.
