Bowl Of Chalk: St Paul's to Monument at St. Paul's Underground Station
Overview
Bowl Of Chalk (Cockney rhyming slang for ‘walk’) do regular ‘pay what you want’, fun, informal and factoid packed London walks on weekends. This walk begins by St Paul’s cathedral, crosses the ‘wobbly’ bridge to explore and uncover the history, stories and characters of Bankside, Borough Market and Southwark including Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and London’s only surviving galleried coaching Inn, before heading back over London Bridge to finish off at the Monument, where the Great Fire of 1666 began.
