Sister Mary and the Choir Boys at Hackney Picturehouse Attic

A gig featuring unapologetic blues as 60s Atlantic meets 00s London. Emine Pirhasen has linked up with composer/ arranger and multi-instrumentalist Fred Thomas to form a band exclusively dedicated to blues and rhythm 'n' blues, using a contemporary, edgy sound over more traditional Ray Charles riffs. The 5 piece band have an album of songs which sound like earthy classics with a modern twist that are new originals written by Pirhasen and Thomas.
