Christine Garwood discusses Alfred Russel Wallace and the Flat Earth Controversy. In the second of the series of Wallace100 lectures, public history lecturer and author Dr Christine Garwood will discuss Wallace's experiment to prove that the Earth was round. The Wallace100 centenary events celebrates the life and legacy of naturalist, and collector, Alfred Russel Wallace and at these monthly lectures, leading biologists and historians explore different aspects of Wallace's life and work.
