Overview

An exhibition that celebrates the intriguing and eccentric personality of Battersea resident Mrs Stirling. In her home at Old Battersea House, she collected artworks by her sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and William De Morgan. The exhibition displays examples of Mrs Stirling's writing and novels, photographs of Old Battersea House and its interior along with examples of some of the furniture and art work which she amassed, including superb examples of the De Morgans' art work.
