A Grammar of Subversion is a film season taking place across the Barbican’s three cinemas, encompassing live events and screenings that put Duchamp at the centre of a dance of associations and influences. The season explores themes associated with Duchamp and the wider Dada movement including sexual identity and play, irreverence and anarchy, the irrational and chance, the provocative and the subversive.
