E4 Udderbelly Festival 2014

Overview

Now an annual tradition, E4 Udderbelly Festival on the South Bank sees a giant, upside-down purple cow become a venue for some of the best live entertainment to be seen in the capital.

A permanent fixture on the South Bank for a number of weeks, the site showcases some of brightest and liveliest comedy, circus, music, family and cabaret shows that attract plenty of big stars. Previous stand-out performers include the likes of Andy Zaltzman, Tony Law, Festival of the Spoken Nerd and Phil Nichol.

The line-up is always hugely varied, with something for comedy fans of all tastes, and there are plenty of food outlets and a bar to enjoy between shows.

From clowns and freak shows to live gigs and DJ sets, this is one festival that’s definitely at the crazier end of the spectrum.
