City of London Sinfonia and the Opera Holland Park Chorus with Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari's blood-and-thunder melodrama of 1911, 'I Gioielli Della Madonna'. It's a highly spiced stew of sacrilege, jealousy and passion under the Neapolitan sun. Martin Lloyd-Evans, OHP's go-to director for post-verismo operas, joins forces with conductor Peter Robinson and stunning young soprano Natalya Romaniw.
