It gives the key facts, describes the impact and looks at the legacy of 20 of Britain's greatest battles. Original artefacts tell the stories behind the battles and the real-life experiences of the soldiers who fought in them. They reveal how tactics, bravery, logistics, innovation and luck have helped the British Army secure victory and where it has found its fiercest challenges and bitterest setbacks.
