Northern Renaissance: D/deaf and Hard of Hearing Event at The Queen's Gallery - Buckingham Palace
Overview
Exhibition curators explore the works of art produced during the dramatic changing times of the 15th and 16th centuries – the Northern Renaissance. This exhibition brings together over 100 works by the greatest Northern European artists of the period. Among the highlights are prints and drawings by Albrecht Dürer, mythological paintings by Lucas Cranach the Elder, and preparatory drawings by Hans Holbein the Younger displayed alongside the finished oil portraits. BSL Interpretation comes from Stephen Hudson, with lipspeaking support from Linda Croton.
