Overview

See the world's top cyclists race past London landmarks including Tower Bridge, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace to a spectacular finish at The Mall.

After setting off from Yorkshire on 5 and 6 July, the Tour de France Grand Depart will arrive in London on 7 July 2014.

The race will enter London from the north east, via Epping Forest, before passing the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and heading for central London.

The competitors will ride past a host of famous London attractions including the Thames, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.

As with the prologue of the Tour de France in 2007 and the 2012 Olympic cycle road races, the final stretch will travel through St James's Park and Buckingham Palace to a spectacular finish on The Mall.
