Plant enthusiast Peter Day leads a stroll around the wetlands to hear about the gorgeous plants that inhabit the margins of pools and lakes. Learn how to identify some of the key plants that grow in and around the water, from alder trees, to the dramatic swathes of purple loosestrife and minute beauty of some of the often overlooked plants such as the tiny duckweed. Look out for some of the centre's later-flowering orchids. Learn how people working and living in wetlands have used plants in a variety of ways.
