Overview

Take part in a group reading of British Surrealist David Gascoyne's evocative Night Thoughts, a 'radiophonic poem' for several voices first broadcast by the BBC in 1955. Gascoyne is hailed as one of the few genuinely British Surrealists, and this poem draws on his late-night walks across London, offering in its broad cinematic scope an apocalyptic vision of the metropolis by night.
