Blackheath Youth Theatre at The Conservatoire
Overview
Blackheath Youth Theatre is the principal theatre company at the Conservatoire. It is a foundation course for students who are considering going to drama school and thinking of a career in acting. Students may join by invitation from other drama groups at the Conservatoire or directly by consultation and audition. The company has performed in the West End at the Drill Hall in The Grapes of Wrath, Rock ‘n’ Roll and The Crucible; and at the Bakehouse Theatre in Our Town and Uncle Vanya. They have also appeared in the Horrible Histories audio CD series, and films for the BBC, the British Film Institute and The Vanishing Point.
