En Bloc Recorder Ensemble at The Conservatoire
Overview
En Bloc is the Conservatoire's fabulous recorder ensemble, a fun and welcoming group of committed and talented young players making music and showing how incredibly versatile and exciting the recorder can be. The repertoire we cover goes from Renaissance dances to jazzy and snazzy modern pieces. The Conservatoire owns their own range, from Sopranino to the Bass recorder, which you'll get a chance to play and discover their amazing sounds. Making music with others is one of the best things in the world and we encourage all recorder players to do so, so why not come and join us and explore all the wonderful and inspiring repertoire. You'll learn all about the recorder's rich and amazing history: it is one of the oldest instruments in the world and is one of the biggest family of instruments. Curious? Come join us and find out more.
