Audition Techniques at Theatre Royal Stratford East

This three-day course will develop your audition technique, your understanding of the audition process and your level of confidence. Former artistic director of the Theatre Royal Stratford East, Philip Hedley, will cover a variety of useful skills and techniques which will enhance your delivery. These will include Laban techniques, units and actions, poetic devices and character thought tracking. Please prepare a monologue beforehand (preferable classical) to deliver on the first day. You must be familiar with the play you select the monologue from. Workshops will be physical, so please insure that you wear comfortable clothing.
